Peakpowder has its roots in steep skiing and freeride skiing. We are pioneers in this specific discipline. Our team of IFMGA professionals are trained and highly qualified to guide steep ski & snowboard lines. We travel around the world to ski and snowboard some of the best steep lines there are! We limit the guiding ratio to 1 IFMGA mountain guide to maximum 2 riders, depending on the level of technical difficulty. Choosing to ride steep lines with Peakpowder Guides is choosing a team of professional mountain guides who are specialized in guiding this type of technically demanding terrain, a team who understands what it takes to make your steep skiing & snowboarding objectives come true! Please contact us to discuss your specific projects. We can help you achieve your personal goals.

Snow conditions on steep faces and couloirs are extremely subtle and can change quickly. The choice of descents is made by the Peakpowder IFMGA mountain guide, according to snow and weather conditions on the given day. Please note that conditions may even change during the course of one day. Peakpowder provides a safety pack for each participant including avalanche beacon, shovel, probe pole, harness & ice axe(if required).
