After a growing number of requests from our clients, Peakpowder has chosen to promote two heliskiing destinations with two different spirits. The first destination is Chamonix Mont Blanc (France). During the the 2013 winter season we launched the “Alps Heliski Adventure” program.
The second destination is Bella Coola (Canada). This little Haida village is the base camp for the Big Mountain Challenge and Vertical Heliski Programs.
In Europe, our heliski programs are guided by fully certified IFMGA mountain guides who speak both English and French. Peakpowder provides each skier with a heliski safety pack, including an ABS airbag backpack, avalanche beacon, probe pole, shovel and harness. Group size is limited to a maximum of 4 participants per IFMGA guide.
In Canada, Peakpowder has partnered with Bella Coola Heli Sports. All BCHS heliski guides are fully certified Canadian ski guides. On some trip dates, Fred BERNARD, President of Peakpowder, will also be guiding.

“ALPS HELISKI ADVENTURE” – CHAMONIX MONT BLANC
The “Alps Heliski Adventure” is a 6 day heliskiing package set in the northern Alps! Chamonix Mont Blanc is the base camp. Comfortable hotel accommodation and excellent food are only one part of this heliskiing experience. Remember that Peakpowder is all about the skiing! We strive to ski the best lines everyday of the season! The skiing potential within the Mont Blanc range is endless and that is why we fly on both the Italian and Swiss sides of the mountains. Join us on this heliskiing adventure and discover the vast terrain that lies right at our doorstep. Flexibility is the key! We have no down days because when the helicopters are down due to bad weather, we can always use the extensive ski lifts system and/or backcountry ski touring options within the Mont Blanc range. The skiing is unique, with a mix of high altitude, big open faces, narrow couloirs, steep chutes, tree skiing in alpine forests and much more!
This heliskiing program is open to Expert skiers who have filled in the Peakpowder Ski Evaluation form.
6 day all inclusive heliskiing packages start Sunday & finish Friday. Group size is limited to a maximum of 4 skiers per IFMGA guide. We do not offer collective groups. Contact us for further details.
Heliski BELLA COOLA, CANADA
After a 6,000 kilometres road trip in BC and Alberta, Peakpowder has finally found the heliskiing operation that meets our expectations. Since the winter of 2013, Peakpowder has partnered with Bella Coola Heli Sports. We are the French representative for BCHS. The concession is located in the Coast Range mountains in British Columbia, Canada. 10,700 sq kms of terrain which amounts to the size of the Swiss Alps. Needless to say, there is no lack of space and the skiing opportunities are endless! Big vertical, steep couloirs, glaciers, tree skiing, alpine faces, runs that finish on the shores of the Pacific Ocean and a snow quality that is extremely reliable. The skiing experience is equal to what Peakpowder offers in the Mont Blanc range. On top of the great skiing, the Bella Coola team is fantastic. Two choices of accommodation (luxury or 3 *) depending on your expectations, delicious meals and a warm welcome. For passionate freeride and big mountain skiers, the “Big Mountain Challenge” program offers an even more challenging skiing experience. Less vertical is included in the package but the lines skied are steeper and require more technical experience. For riders who want to go into the backcountry and explore the wilderness of the Coast Mountain range, Peakpowder offers two special programs, mixing alpine touring and heliskiing.
Heliskiing packages are open to Ibtermediate to Expert level skiers and snowboarders who have filled in our Peakpowder Ski Evaluation form.
5 to 9 day all inclusive heliskiing packages leaving from Paris, Lyon or Geneva (other European destinations are possible. Please contact us for details). Group size is limited to a maximum of 8 skiers per 2 guides.
