50 cm in 12 hours right outside our front door...we're talking about the quantity of snow that has fallen!  Another 50 cm should fall tonight and everyone is feeling a little more relaxed.  Snow was seriously lacking until a couple of days ago, but we can safely say that the season has now kicked off in Chamonix.  The Grands Montets will open Saturday morning to the huge relief of the passionate skiers in the Chamonix, and the ski bums have smiles on their faces.  Peakpowder welcomes you with open arms for another great start to the season.  Throughout this winter we are launching new products, such as the Road Trip for rock stars in the Canadian Rockies, Couloir skiing in the Dolomites and a get-away weekend in Engelberg, which we have recently checked out.  Now let's get serious, it's time to prep for powder...let's go!
